AFCEA Luncheon Series: Gerald A. Swift, Director AIRWorks
NAWCAD AIRWorks' mission is to deliver world-class capabilities to the warfighter by being a Government Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) organization that rapidly executes aircraft modifications, cradle-to-initial sustainment, and provides a solution-oriented workforce that brings innovation into the acquisition and engineering project lifecycles. AIRWORKS leverages organic, mid-tier industry and small business capabilities as an alternative to the major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to rapidly get capability onto fleet weapon systems at a competitive cost. AIRWORKS enables access to operationally relevant environments, enables maturing technology projects the ability to demonstrate asymmetric warfighting value, and provides a means for transition.
