About Us

The Patuxent Partnership (“TPP,” “The Partnership”), located in and focused primarily on Southern Maryland, is within Naval District Washington (NDW) which includes the District of Columbia; the Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, Worchester, Kent, Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, St. Mary''s, Queen Anne''s and Caroline; and northern Virginia counties of Loudoun, Fauquier, Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, King George, Arlington and the cities within their outer boundaries.

Stood up as a membership organization in the late 1990’s, The Patuxent Partnership’s initial role was support of NAVAIR’s move from Crystal City, encouraging the relocation of contractors, engaging the local community, and developing a dialogue within the region about the expansion of government activities and the overall community growth.

Today, TPP continues to create a robust exchange of knowledge and information in support of the Department of Defense and Naval aviation.  The Partnership accomplishes this work in a variety of ways. Programs sponsored by TPP include defense, security, science & technology, engineering and other topics of interest to our audience.
