Pre-Commercialization Fund Proposal Cover Sheet:
The PCF Commercialization Plan is the primary document used for commercialization candidate review and ranking. The PCF Commercialization Plan must include:
· A title page defining the corporate address(s) and principal investigator’s information from each organization of the team, along with the proposal submission date; · A one-page Executive Summary; · A detailed Commercialization Plan addressing the topics provided in the suggested outline.
The content of the detailed Commercialization Plan must be limited to no more than 15 pages. Within the confines of this limit, the proposal should address the major points in the suggested outline. The most important aspect of the commercialization plan, which should make up the bulk of the proposal, should be the specific aims that will be addressed with PCF support, specific milestones by which progress will be demonstrated and proposed approaches to achieve the milestones. The proposal may include the required financial statements in appendices that are not subject to the page limit.
If the project requires a license to NAWCAD technology as an important component of the commercialization plan, the company should include a copy of the completed licensing form and a statement of proposed royalty rates. The license proposal may also be included in appendix and is not subject to page limits.. Guidance on the format and content of the components of a PCF proposal may be found at:
